2026 Practice Day is HERE!!

NHKA Practice Weekend Information

We’re excited to kick off our first event as the new owners of NHKA. Thank you to everyone for your patience and cooperation as we get everything up and running at a new location.

Please note that pit layouts may be adjusted as we organize trailers, campers, and equipment to ensure a smooth and safe event for everyone.


 General Information

  • No official scoring for practice
    (Transponders are encouraged to help with scoring setup and education)
  • Orbits/MyLaps system will be running for testing, including live scoring
  • Registration is closed – no race day signups
  • All registered drivers will have a pit pass ready
  • Pit passes for all others: $20 CASH ONLY at the gate
  • $25 for overnight Camping
  • All guests must wear pit passes at all times
  • Scales will be available – drivers are responsible for meeting class weight requirements
  • Only trailers and tow vehicles allowed in pit area (all others park in designated lot)
  • Please welcome our 32 new drivers and help make it a great first experience

 Friday (April 25)

  • 5:00 PM – Gate opens (camping, pit setup, safety tech available)
  • 8:00 PM – Gate closes (no entry after this time)

Saturday Schedule

  • 6:30 AM – Gate opens (use main gate with NHKA sign)
  • 8:45 AM – Mandatory drivers meeting (all drivers & guests)
  • 9:00 AM – Safety course meeting
  • 9:15 AM – Practice begins

Practice Format:

  • Grouped sessions (8–10 minutes each)
  • Track 1 running clockwise
  • Classes may be combined to maximize track time
  • Schedule may adjust as safety course drivers advance

New Members

At check-in, you will receive:

  • Pit pass
  • Grid pass (1 per driver)
  • Steering wheel sign-in band

 All karts must pass safety tech before entering the track (tech located on grid)


Rules & Reminders

  • No bikes, scooters, or wheeled recreational items allowed
  • No open alcohol during track hours on Saturday
  • Friday camping: no open fires, quiet hours begin at 10 PM
  • Take all trash, tires, and fuel containers with you
  • Leave your pit area clean

Additional Info

  • No concessions on site – plan accordingly
  • Lunch break will be provided
  • Local market/deli nearby
  • Spectators should bring their own chairs
