Happy Holidays!
Sunday, December 19th, 2010Excellent turnout for Granite State Kart Championship Round 4
Monday, June 28th, 2010It was a beautiful summer day for round 4 of the Granite State Kart Championship at NHMS. We had another solid turnout, which included even more new faces. There was great racing across all classes, including our biggest fields yet of Yamaha pipes, shifters and a 15-kart TaG Masters class. All I can say is WOW it doesn’t get any better than this. Everybody helps everybody making it an enjoyable day for one and all. As always, thank you to the racers and volunteers who made it possible.
We’re all disappointed by the closure of Sugar Hill Speedway and the loss of those GSKC dates. But NHKA has the option of renting the short track there to put on GSKC races. We’d be happy to offer you more opportunities to race, but before we commit, we’d like to know how many racers will actually show up. Would you like to race on Sugar Hill’s short track? How many races there would you attend? Send Mike an email at mike@nhka.net and let him know.
The next scheduled race is July 31st at NHMS on the Hill Course. Bring what you have and we will find a place for you to join in the fun.
Granite State Kart Championship’s 2nd event at NHMS
Wednesday, June 9th, 2010We had another great event for the Granite State Kart Championship’s second event at NHMS. Early morning rain may have keep some away, but didn’t dampen the spirits of the hearty racers on hand. Everyone who came got an all-day, unlimited-laps, open practice on the reconfigured temp track. It was fast and fun, and just when everyone was about out of steam, we wrapped up the day with a terrific fun race. As always, thank you to those who stayed to help tear down the track.
The GSKC’s next event at Loudon is June 19th on the hill course. If you haven’t raced this high-speed track yet, come join us for a wild ride roller coaster ride into the bowl. All karts are welcome: 4 cycles, 2 cycles, TaGs, shifters, Jr’s, cadets, and baby karts (sorry, no duel engines). Gates open at 7am and registration at 7:30. This track is plain awesome… don’t miss it!
