NHKA Annual Meeting & Race Against Cancer

What better way to shake off the winter blahs than a day of racing with friends and making plans for next season?

January 21, 2012
Checkered Flag Indoor Karting
Racing Starts at 9am
NHKA Annual Meeting at 2pm

In the past, we’ve had great off-season races at Checkered Flag, which is owned by long-time NHKA racer Tom Prioli. The Race Against Cancer gives people the chance to go wheel-to-wheel against racers from all the region’s series: modifieds, legends, stock cars and karting. Bring the whole family, anyone 54” tall can compete and there are plenty of amusements for the youngsters. You’re guaranteed at least two heat races, and the top 8 drivers will run a 100-lap feature. It’s just $50 to enter, with half going directly to Racing Against Cancer™. To enter and for more information visit:

Even if you miss the racing, be sure to come for the NHKA Annual Meeting at 2pm. We’ll be talking about things like possible 2-day events and class structure. It’s a great time to air any concerns and make suggestions of how to keep the series growing strong. What’s more, you can save $10 on your 2012 NHKA membership if you sign up at the meeting.

So join us on January 21st, get together with friends and have fun for a great cause.
