 Sessions Information

Practice is by age and speed appropriate groups.  Transponders are required for all on track sessions.

There are two practice sessions by class, per class followed by 1 Heat Race and a Final.

The second practice session will be timed for starting positions in the Heat Race.

Drivers that do not meet the  minimum weight for their class will be disqualified.

Technical rules and regulations are found in the latest edition of the WKA technical manual.  Rules, regulations, and weights may be adjusted to promote parity. Technical disqualification will result in 0 (zero) points.

Flagging violations are at the discretion of the corner workers.  If a flagging violation is protested, NHKA officials and the corner workers will discuss said violation.  Finals decision of violation will be decided by the corner workers.  Penalties will be decided by NHKA Officials.

Protests for finishing points must be presented within 30 minutes after the race results are posted.

Protests for disqualification must be presented within 30 minutes after the disqualification is determined.

Results are posted at Registration.  NHKA Racing Series members will receive championship points for all classes entered.

All rules and regulations are subject to change.

It does appear that most, if not all of the helmets that were safety checked at the May 21 event are legal. Please check the specs listed here to make sure that your helmet complies to the WKA rules. Please tell your friends and competitors to check this list.

All helmet specifications can be found on page TM9, section 115.1 Head Gear, in the WKA 2011 Technical Manual.
